Join us for an evening learning how to prep delicious food and make it healthy as well! We will learn how to prepare chicken breast two ways: grilling and pan searing it. The Chef will demo cooking ground beef that will be turned into beef lettuce wraps that everyone will enjoy for their appetizer. Then we will learn to make healthy sauces to top your chicken breasts using fresh ingredients that you can find at the farmers markets. We'll prepare a chimichurri sauce, watermelon salsa and the traditional tomato salsa. To accompany the chicken, everyone will make a rice pilaf along with vegetable sides of carrot ribbons, leek medley and summer squash and zucchini roasted. We will finish off the evening with a little something sweet but good for you; enjoying a no bake Greek yogurt tart with fresh fruit topping.
