Join us in the kitchen for a fun, hands-on evening as you learn how to make classic Greek gyros. Each couple will prepare their own loaf pan of gyro meat to take home and enjoy later. During the class, we’ll sit down together to enjoy freshly made gyros topped with all the traditional fixings, including tomato, onion, feta, and creamy tzatziki.
We’ll begin with a Greek favorite, saganaki—flaming cheese served with warm baguette. To finish the evening, you’ll prepare Portakalopita, a beloved orange cake from the island of Crete, infused with notes of citrus and honey and made with delicate phyllo dough instead of flour. This special recipe is one Chef Pam learned during a cooking class in Athens, Greece.
